Samina is a young poet, graphic designer, and YouTuber. She is the Founder & Editor In Cheif at Inertia Teens.  She is known for her spoken words poetry and short films highlighting her narratives influenced by her culture and emotions. She loves to use her graphic designs and social entrepreneurship skills for bridging the gap in the BIPOC publishing industry, fighting for gender equality and awareness. She would love to make a change in the world.

Inertia Teens

Inertia teens is a mental health initiative by teenagers for educating youth through vivid discussions, literary magazines, Talk Show, and much more. We have recently started a talk show called teen talks which have been a platform for various discussions about mental health covering topics like survivor’s guilt, running a small business, COVID 19, toxic positivity, Faith, Body Positivity, Identifying emotions, and Griefing, fatigue, performative activism, loneliness. One of our episodes is with Yesika Salgado, a prominent poet who is the recipient of the 2020 International Latino Book Award, discussing body positivity, challenges faced as a minority and so much more. All our team members are BIPOC high school students wanting to make a change in the world with the mission to represent our community and highlight various issues which impact our lives.

Graphic Design

She has gotten specialization in Graphic Design from Cal Arts. It's her past time to convey the art of storytelling in design. Poetry and Design serve as her means to portray what revolves around the world around her. Her style is bright bold colors and dreamy patterns. She's a big fan of experimental art along with traditional rules. She has designed the issues of inertia teens. she has been a significant contributor to the designs of novel minorities. She was a part of various organizations such as Star-Gazette, Big sister's program, and Girls who Code.

Other experiences

She is well known for participating in focus groups for giving critics. She has participated in Write the World, Cukturally Collectives Arts, Luk  Labs, and many more user testing programs.


Along with this she has participated in Summer Camps for Project Inspire, Girls Who Code, Big Sister's Program, The Young Writer's Initiative, and the NJPAC.
